TheHardwareHut.com is a division of Spokane Hardware Supply in Spokane Washington. Spokane Hardware Supply has a commercial division that provides commercial and architectural hardware as well as an in house hollow metal door and frame shop. Through our commercial division we have access to a large inventory of commercial door and washroom hardware along with accessories for Division 8 and Division 10 projects. When you construct or renovate a public restroom or washroom you’ll be in need of several pieces of commercial hardware. We would be happy to provide that for you.
Something that every public restroom requires is grab bars around the toilet area. These can be individual straight bars or an L shaped bar that wraps in a corner. Applications can vary depending on ADA code requirements. Typically you’ll see bars made of stainless steel or solid brass and then finished in a variety of colors to match your decor. We have over 200 grab bars in many different sizes and finishes available.
We have round modern stainless steel signs from Cool Lines for Ladies, Gentlemen, and Unisex. These stylish signs are 3″ in diameter and affixed with screws. For ADA compliant restrooms we have plastic signs from Don-Jo in Blue/White or Jacknob in Black/White. Don-Jo offers four options, Men/Accessible, Women/Accessible, Accessible, and Unisex Accessible. Jacknob offers nine options including Employees Only, No Smoking, and No Exit signs in addition to the restroom signs. Both the Don-Jo and Jacknob signs are 6″ x 9″, include Braille translation, and are affixed with double sided pressure tape.
Toilet Tissue Dispensers
Unfortunately theft of toilet tissue has become such an issue that Bradley Corporation has come up with solutions to help prevent it. Their design will only allow the tissue roll to be removed if the roll is empty.
Bathtub and shower seats are not only a great solution for commercial projects where ADA compliance is required but and also for Aging in Place homes. We now offers seats in stylish solutions that will compliment rather than compromise your bathroom design. These seats conveniently fold up and out of the way when not in use and are available in a variety of sizes, finishes and configurations.
Door hardware in most commercial settings needs to be ADA compliant (Americans with Disabilities Act). Levers are used because they are operable without pinching, twisting, or tight grasping.
Hooks and Holders
You may be carrying something when nature calls and no one wants to leave your valuables on the floor in a restroom. Hooks, shelves, or holders strategically placed in the restroom will make your customers happy.
Sadly some people aren’t as careful with other peoples property, especially with doors. Pushing a door too much or pulling a door too hard can end up causing damage to your walls. Prevent such damage with wall, floor, or hinge pin stops.
